Relationship with Money
Money doesn’t buy happiness or does it? This is a good illustration of how each of us has a different relationship with money.
My friend Paul told a story this morning about how money bought happiness for him yesterday.
A caller was quick to correct Paul and said, “No! You shouldn’t say ‘money buys happiness’ because money can do so much harm in this world. Money can do both harm and good.”
I thought about the statement that this gentleman had talked about. Money is just a tool, no matter how you use it.
Relationship with Money – Money and Guns are Tools
What I am about to say may be controversial.
Money is like guns. The person uses the gun. When something bad happens with a gun, it is the person that actually shot the gun. Many people are saying that guns should be banned. It is a person that is doing the crime. If you ban guns in the world, all the good people that had guns to defend themselves are now defenseless.
Now, to bring us back to money. Money is just a tool. If someone does a ton of harm with the money, it is the person doing the harm. The guy is the one doing the harm, not the money. The money itself is not doing any harm, it is just a piece of paper! It is the person using the money that is doing the harm. Money is a tool.
You can do a lot of good with money. Take anything negative that you can think of about money and delete it. Money does not do harm. Think about it. Money does not do harm in this world, people do.
Money is good, money is great! You can do a lot with money when you have money. I am going to do a lot of great things with my family. We have plans for family get-togethers that we would never be able to do without money.

This is a cool subject. Just get rid of all negative thoughts that you have about money. Otherwise, you aren’t going to attract it into your life.
